about

Chimney Choir conjures colorful avant-pop by mixing old time acoustic instruments with droning synths, junk percussion and 3 part harmonies in a theatrical show. They are releasing their new album '(compass)' in a series of monthly thematic performances at Leon Gallery in Denver. In each episode, three new songs are released digitally. The series will culminate with the physical release of the '(compass)' CD in June. In March they looked West, in April they looked South- they saw shadow puppets, confetti shooting stars, candles, a giant Shaman monster and dancers with an aphrodisiac love potion. Half of the (compass) has been discovered! On May 19th they will look North- with Language of Fish and Clouds and Mountains- for the next piece of the (compass).
